What is Ace Media Player and what can I do with it?

Ace Media Player is a shell program that works by using external media engines, it supports DivX, QuickTime, RealMedia and Windows Media files, this means that you have to have the media engines installed in order to use Ace Media Player for these formats.

What software should be installed on my machine to use Ace Media Player?

If you want to watch RealMedia clips, install RealMedia player, if you want to watch Apple QuickTime clips, install QuickTime player, and if you like to watch DivX movie, install DivXNetworks Divx Codec.

What are the System Requirement for Ace Media Player?

What media formats does Ace Media Player support?

Basically Ace Media Player can play all media formats already supported in your system, Minicinema just gathers all your players under the same roof so to say. If you have QuickTime installed Ace Media Player plays QuickTime movies, and if you have Real Player installed Ace Media Player plays Real movies, follow me?

Because you already have Windows Media Player installed with windows your Ace Media Player already plays mpeg, mp3, wmv and asf etc.

Major media formats that Windows Media Player support:
asf, mpg, mp3, mp2, mpeg, mpa, mpga, mpv, dat, avi, wav, au, wma, wmv

Major media formats that RealPlayer support:
rm, ra, ram, rp, rt, swf, viv, aif, snd, jpg, gif

Major media formats that QuickTime Player support:
mov, qt

Major media formats that DivX codec support:
avi, mp4, divx

There are hundreds of media formats that Ace Media Player could play and they are not all listed here.

Note: Ace Media Player is a "Shell" media player, this means you must have the media engines installed to play a file. Because Windows Media Player are installed on almost all Windows Systems, your Ace Media Player already plays mpeg, mp3, wmv and asf etc.

Why some type of media clips seems cann't play?

If you does not have the relevant media engine installed Ace Media Player will not play the file.

How to enter my registration key?

You'd better to copy your Registry Key because you may write "1" as "L" or "L" as "1", "0" as "O", or "O" as "0". below is a diagram link that show you how to Copy and Paste your Registry Key in order to unlock Ace Media Player.

How do I uninstall Ace Media Player from my computer?

1. Click Start in the Windows Taskbar, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel
2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs, The Add/Remove Programs dialog box appears.
3. In the list of programs select Ace Media Player.
4. Click Change/Remove. Follow the instructions on screen.

This operation will not uninstall media engines.
Consult the documentation for each media engine for information on how to uninstall it.
